The L A Weight Loss® Plan

The L A Weight Loss® Plan

Recently, a newscaster noted that most celebrities are heavily endorsing their weight- loss plans including, but not limited to, Kirstie Alley and Jenny Craig, Suzanne Sommers and her own weight-loss plan, and now Whoopie Goldberg and The L A Weight Loss plan.

As with other plans afoot, the L A Weight Loss plan is different in that it asks you to meet with a counselor at one of their weight loss centers at least three times a week. This is different than most online weight-loss plans in that the others allow you to have a live chat with a counselor or nutritionist.

Also, the L A Weight Loss plan is similar to others in that it is designed in 3 phases as well. When you begin, you are placed on a high-protein diet, after which you are expected to consume up to 1800 calories a day. The last phase requires you to speak to your counselor, one on one, and at this point you can consume the foods that you have been denied.

While the cost is $5.00 per week, which is quite reasonable, the cost of food can tip the scale in affordability. In addition, when you do sign up for this program, you have to do so for one year. Therefore, this is a downside most people do not know about. Another downside is that their meals are not provided, and if you choose to pay for their products, it can be costly overall. Perhaps the L A Weight Loss plan is synonymous with celebrities who can afford this type of plan. However, for the average person it may not be conducive to your budget.

On the bright side, however, The L A Weight Loss plan does include 40 different meal plans, and the guidelines must be strictly adhered to. It is based on portion size and depending on your body type and weight-loss goal; you may have to discuss your overall diet plan with their counselor to ascertain if this particular diet will work for you.
